Who We Want
Arrive is seeking a summer intern to assist in various aspects of Finance and Accounting functions. This is a paid position which will include rotational assignments in Accounting Treasury Forecasting Tax Payroll and Financial Analysis. This is a unique opportunity to gain handson experience across various critical functions and contribute to our continued success.
What Youll Do
- Prepare journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations and assist in preparation of monthly financial statements. 7 days in accounting for each of the June August monthend close process)
- Participate in routine cash flow and liquidity forecasting processes.
- Participate in the monthly P&L reforecasting process by completing Budget vs Actual analysis for several departments.
- Prepare analysis of a potential impairment of the San Antonio office lease.
- Review GAAP income to Taxable Income reconciliation and allocations to partners.
- Review freight claims reporting worksheets for simplification.
- Participate in processing payroll for two payroll runs.
- Review Mexico and Canada financial statements and currency translation.
Qualifications
- Actively pursuing a Bachelors degree in Accounting and/or Finance on a fulltime basis.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A commitment to keep sensitive information private and confidential.
- Basic MS Excel skills required and basic Google Suite skills is a plus.
