A Day in the Life of a Director of Rehabilitation

The Director of Rehabilitation at Cuyuna Regional Medical Center oversees a diverse therapy team ensuring the effective implementation of tailored rehabilitation plans that span behavioral residential social and employment objectives. This role necessitates robust leadership to achieve key goals in patient care employee relations and fiscal management while maintaining high standards of care compliant with hospital and regulatory standards. Collaboration with various internal departments such as orthopedics and pain management programs is critical for integrated patient care. The director also engages in strategic planning including program design and expansion to continuously enhance service delivery and departmental effectiveness. Additionally routine responsibilities involve monitoring and reporting on service quality managing department budgets and communicating effectively across all levels of the organization to foster a cohesive operational environment.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

Required

  • American Heart Association BLS Certification within 30 days of hire
  • Previous management experience
  • Graduate of an accredited college or university with a bachelor degree in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy
  • PT or OT license/certification registered in Minnesota

Preferred

  • Masters degree

Compensation and Benefits

The pay range listed above is the estimated starting pay range for this role. Actual pay rate offered depends on many factors including an executives experience level preferred education/certifications along with market conditions.
