This is a contingent position based upon contract award
KBR is seeking a Technical Lead to join our team in the Northern Virginia area. In this role you will be key personnel responsible for supporting the integration and implementation of endtoend solutions into the enterprise and participate in the requirements process as directed by the Government. The Technical Lead will work across a variety of efforts to identify integration risks (e.g. technical schedule or performance) opportunities for process improvements and recommend best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Analyzes users requirements concept of operations documents and highlevel system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
- Analyzes system requirements and provides support to design and development activities.
- Guides users in formulating requirements advises alternative approaches and conducts feasibility studies.
- Provides technical guidance and support for the integration of requirements design and technology.
- Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and associated problems issues or conflicts.
- Communicates with other program personnel and government staff
Minimum Qualifications:
- Sixteen 16 or more years experience with technical or programmatic integration roles
- Bachelors Degree
- Demonstrated experience with technical project management
- Experience providing recommendations to address issues and shortfalls in security vulnerability confidentiality integrity and availability
- Experience providing systems engineering support to evaluate utility and demand for capabilities systems and services and suggest modifications
- Demonstrated experience executing and managing enduse requirements gathering and curation activities for Information Technology (IT) systems and services
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present results to senior leaders
- Experience supporting the federal government or DoD
Desired Qualifications:
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or its DoD equivalent or coursework
- Enterprise Architecture Certification (e.g. TOGAF)
- Experience as a technical writer
Clearance: TS/SCI w poly required
