Faculty Position Vacancy Founded in 1852 Wartburg College is a selective fouryear liberal arts college of the Lutheran Church (ELCA) nationally recognized for community engagement. The college offers more than 50 academic majors and preprofessional and certificate programs leading to the bachelors degree. The college is located in Waverly Iowa a growing community of more than 10000 residents. POSITION: Assistant Professor of Business Administration (Quantitative emphasis) TITLE: Assistant Professor Tenure Track or Visiting Assistant Professor Titled based on applicants qualifications START DATE: August 2025 TIMELINE: Applications received by January 15 will receive full consideration QUALIFICATIONS: Successful candidates will provide evidence of the following qualifications: Required: - MBA or Masters or related degree in closely aligned field specializing in areas related to finance management and/or accounting.
- Evidence of successful collegelevel teaching and/or related professional experience.
- Broadbased ability to teach multiple courses across a business administration curriculum such as Business Finance Business Data Analytics Principles of Accounting I and II Supply Chain Management Project Management and Operations Management with opportunities to teach in the General Education program. Exact course load will be negotiated and may include some teaching in other areas of business administration.
Preferred: - Doctorate or ABD in closely related field specializing in areas related to finance accounting; related certifications and/or licenses considered.

DUTIES: The successful candidate will fulfill the duties of tenure track faculty to include: - Teach seven undergraduate courses across the fall winter and fourweek May term across the business administration department curriculum and potentially courses in the general education curriculum as needed.
- Advise program majors.
- Engage in scholarship and service appropriate to the liberal arts setting.
