Hours: MF 930 am to 6 pm
Rate: $75000
Must hold NYS Licensure (LMSW LMHC LCSW LMFT)
EMS/MMH Clinician isbased out of the Kingston Fire Dept. (KFD) and will be present in the ambulance when responding to calls that are of a mental health concern. MMH will have a physical presence at KFD MondayFriday from the hours of 10am6pm.
We are currently seeking a Mobile Mental Health Clinician to join our dynamic team.This position requires a Masters degree Licensed Masters Social Worker Licensed Clinical Social Worker Licensed Mental Health Clinician and 13 years minimum experience.We are looking for a professional staff member qualified to perform duties within the Mobile Mental Health Team to support Ulster County hospital ER discharges and in the Ulster County community by implementing safety plans and followup support until linkage to outpatient services is in place.
Job Description:
In this role you will:
Clinicians are required to be skilled in the clinical triage and assessment of all emergency urgent and routine calls
Knowledgeable about all Ulster County resources with particular knowledge of the services of the Agency
Be able to assess needs of each individual served and intervene as appropriate to the situation
Be able to coordinate outreach services service planning followup support and administrative back up as needed and clinically appropriate
Work in compliance with MMHT agency and regulatory procedural guidelines
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
Masters Degree and NYS Licensure LMSW LCSW LMHC or LMFT
1 to 3 years experience preferably with individuals with mental health diagnosis
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Flexibility with hours as may require some evenings and weekends
Bilingual English and Spanish speaking a plus
