Work Schedule
8 15 hours per week based on student course schedule. Must be available for inperson work during regular business hours MF 8:00 am 5:00 pm. Some evening and weekend work may be available but is not required.
Job Summary
The Office for Civil Rights and Equity empowers members of the CSUF community to understand and act on their rights and options for identifying addressing and preventing alleged discrimination harassment and sexual misconduct based on protected status such as Age Disability Gender Gender Identity Gender Expression Genetic Information Marital Status Medical Condition Nationality Pregnancy or related conditions Race or Ethnicity (including color caste or ancestry) Religion or Religious Creed Sex (including Sex Stereotyping or Sex Characteristics) Sexual Orientation and Veteran or Military Status.
The Office for Civil Rights and Equity is seeking student assistant peer educators to help the Prevention and Education team in developing implementing and assessing education and outreach programs for students in a diverse university setting. Under the direction of the Prevention and Education Coordinator Peer Educator student assistants will work to increase student engagement with departmental education and prevention efforts. Duties will center around event support administrative work and assisting with workshops. Peer Educators will be able to develop skills such as leadership communication event planning presentational speaking and social media management.

Background Check
A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily and is required for this position.
