Job Description
- Sort pallet component material and feed acceptable material into the machine
- Build pallets according to customers requirements
- Check each pallet for quality issues as the pallets are being built
- Record production times and pallet counts throughout the day and turn sheet into the production manager after each shift
- Conduct preventative maintenance as required
- Set up the machine in between each run according to the kiosk and to the customer needs
- Communicate with maintenance and supervisor of any machine issues
- Communication with production manager of any issues regarding machine and quality
- Maintain and clean up work area during and at the end of each shift
- Wear PPE that is required
- Other duties as assigned
- Able to work well with others
- Must be able to read write perform basic math computation and read a tape measure
- On most occasions will lift 50 pounds or less and on a rare occasion must be able to lift push and pull objects that are 75 pounds or heavier
- Must be able to sit walk bend and twist for long periods of time throughout the day
- Must be able to understand and adhere to all the safety requirements of the pallet manufacturing facility
