The Opportunity:
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for a fixedterm post as Teaching Fellow in Icelandicto join the Department of European Languages and Cultures at the University of Edinburgh.
The Teaching Fellow inIcelandicwill act as Course Organiser and sole tutor for the courses Modern Icelandic Language 1a and Modern Icelandic Language 1b. In addition to administering the courses and delivering tutorials the Teaching Fellow will coordinate conversation classes and cultural activities and act as point of contact for general enquiries regarding Icelandic provision within the University.
This is a parttime fixed term post comprising 40 contact hours in Semester 1 and 44 in Semester 2 with all duties combined amounting to approximately 275 hours in each of the academic years starting 202526. Teaching will take place on campus.
