The Strategic Finance team is responsible for providing datadriven insights to inform strategic financial and operational decisionmaking across the company. We are seeking a Senior Associate to partner with our International team to achieve their business goals drive efficient growth and take on highprofile strategic projects. This is a highimpact role supporting our fastgrowing international expansion that will offer exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to drive longterm shareholder value.
About this roll* (Responsibilities)
- Be a finance business partner to the International team supporting Toasts commercial expansion outside the U.S.
- Collaborate with business partners to gather data and produce comprehensive financial projections and forecasts across each nonU.S. market ensuring alignment with business goals
- Deliver monthly/quarterly reporting and analysis for International financials and KPIs ensuring key issues risks and business drivers are understood and highlighted
- Develop a deep understanding of Toasts business model for international commercial expansion including unit economics product and market strategies and internal processes
- Assist in adhoc analyses and deep dives into strategic issues to improve decision making
- Communicate clearly knowledgeably and transparently with cross functional stakeholders (including but not limited to Finance Sales Marketing Onboarding) to build trusted relationships and enhance business outcomes
- Continuously examine opportunities to optimize processes and models to provide more timely and relevant insights across Toast
Do you have the right ingredients* (Requirements)
- Bachelors degree
- 4 years of experience in Strategic Finance FP&A investment banking or equivalent field
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
- Selfstarter capable of independently navigating ambiguity
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills amongst a range of audiences
- Positive attitude high attention to detail and comfort working in a matrix organization
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced highgrowth and evolving environment
Special Sauce* (Nice to Haves)
- Working knowledge of SQL or experience with BI tools
- Working knowledge of Adaptive Netsuite and Zip
- Experience working in a high growth SaaS company
- Public company Strategic Finance background; partnership with a Gotomarket organization
