Job Description Summary
This will be a oneyear appointment with possible renewal. Ph.D. in French (language & literature) or equivalent native or nearnative proficiency in both French and English; strong commitment to undergraduate teaching demonstrated ability to teach in an undergraduate French program including language (beginner through advanced); an undergraduate literature capstone (field of specialization open preference for Medieval and/or Early Modern literature and culture); also the demonstrated ability to teach a specialty course such as Business French; willingness to perform some departmental college or university service. Candidates must demonstrate experience with or a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
Minimum Qualifications
PHD or ABD in French if completed by August 15 2019.
