WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
This position is part of a portfolio that develops digital products within the digital marketing and sales area specifically focused on the online sales of Porsche vehicles.
You will join our vibrant international and fully dedicated product team whose mission is to make the global Porsche website an outstanding digital luxury experience for our customers. Together we aim to provide a seamless and enjoyable digital journey guiding users to the right model product or service.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
Work handson implementing our product through modern frontend and backend technology (e.g.: )
Implement and maintain our software architecture for durability and quality
Develop new features alongside customer feedback and data
Lead and coach the other software engineers in the team and work closely with the other teams in the Agile Release Train
Define the rules of play on how we build a durable and scalable product
Development and implementation of webinterfaces backend services and APIs to existing services and integration of other ecosystem assets and capabilities
Strong focus on website performance (mobile and desktop) as well as accessibility
Work following the principles of DevOps with regards to writing maintainable code reusability of infrastructure and components and continuously deploying our software into test and productive environments
Persistent work to create and sustain premium Porschelike quality and security of our product through modern quality tools and processes
You will be an active part of an agile team take over product responsibility work closely with other teams in the digital ecosystem at Porsche integrate crucial assets and capabilities and scale the product
WHAT YOU BRING ALONG
You have a masters degree in software engineering information technology or alike and at least 5 years of experience in software engineering
Knowledge of modern frontend development tools and techniques (e.g. SSR SSG Meta frameworks...
A keen interest in automated testing
You know how to develop resilient cloudfirst applications ideally on AWS
Youre fluent in JavaScript ideally also in TypeScript
Expertise with other modern backend programming languages would be a plus (Kotlin Java Go...
Knowledge of software security standards threat assessment and secure programming methodologies
Ideally you have experience with API management systems like IBM API Connect and you know how to write APIfirst services
Experience with modern CMS (ideally Storyblok) and related tooling would be an asset
You are a team player being part of an agile team actively taking care of team culture and the product value towards our customers
Our company language is English so you should speak it fluently
If you are a contributor to the opensource community please dont hesitate to share your Git profile beforehand
