Job Description
We are currently seeking a talented Data Engineer. In this role you will be responsible for developing managing and optimizing our data pipelines and architectures to enable effective data analysis and reporting. Your contributions will help drive datadriven decisionmaking across the organization.
Requirements
- 7 years experience in Database Technology and delivery with a strong background in the design build deploy practical use and support of highly available Database infrastructures
- 5 year designing building managing and administering large scale Database (physical and virtual) environments.
- Must have 5 years strong PostgreSQL indepth DBA and data migration knowledge.
- Have worked and supported on critical and highly available 24x7 production systems.
- 4 years solid working experience in at least one of the following Cloud platforms AWS Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong development or system administration experience on UNIX/Linux systems
- Strong experience in Bash shell programming
- 7 years technical experience (within financial services industry preferred)
- Technical Domain experience (Subject Matter Expertise in Technology or Tools) particularly in core banking domain with ledger and product data models
- Solid experience knowledge and skills in Data Engineering software development such as ELT/ETL data extraction and manipulation in Data Lake/Data Warehouse/Lake House environment.
- Hands on programming experience in writing Python SQL Unix Shell scripts Pyspark scripts in a complex enterprise environment
- Experience in configuration management using Ansible/Jenkins/GIT
