Georgia Military College announces an openeing for a Chef Manager. This position is responsible to assist in the overall supervision and management of food services operations to include catering. Flexible hours will be required to supervise and monitor all shifts of cafeteria operations and catered events as they occur. Major duties include menu planning ordering inventory control sanitation catering budgeting pricing personnel management training and event planning. This position reports to the Director of Food Services Main Campus Auxiliary Services.
Required Qualifications:
Associates Degree/2year certification in Food Service Operations Business Administration or related specialty.
Minimum of 3 years experience in Cafeteria Management/Food Service Management to include customer service sanitation food production and cash accountability.Experience supervising and training others
Basic computer skills to include a familiarity with Microsoft Office products.Ability to work with and maintain spreadsheets. Excellent organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
*Criminal background check and drug screenmustbe cleared before any candidate may begin working.
