Job Description
Our client a leading food and beverage manufacturer is looking for a Senior Artisan to join their team in Atlantis Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of production equipment and facilities leading the maintenance team and managing resources to ensure operational efficiency. This role offers an excellent opportunity for career growth with the potential to transition into a Maintenance Manager position within three years.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee maintenance of production equipment and facilities in a food and beverage manufacturing environment
- Lead and supervise the maintenance team to ensure optimal performance
- Manage maintenance budgets resources and procurement of necessary parts and equipment
- Ensure compliance with health safety and industry regulations
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and improve efficiency
Requirements:
- National Diploma or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 5 years of experience in maintenance management within the food or beverage manufacturing industry
- Strong leadership and technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain highspeed production equipment
- A trade test qualification (e.g. Millwright) will be advantageous
- Salary: negotiable.
