Job Description:

  • Role Title: Health Information Clerk
  • Role Type: Casual
  • Department and Location: SVHA Mater Hospital St Vincents Private and Griffith hospitals.
  • Salary: 34.37 AUD base per hour.

About The Role:

  • Assist with retrieval and delivery of records to and from the wards.
  • Sorting and assembling of medical records for scanning.
  • Scanning and filing of medical records.
  • Assist with the processing of requests for records both on and offsite.
  • Scanning and filing VMO letters and loose sheets.
  • Assist with other duties as directed by the Manager of Health Information Services.

About You:

  • Experience in computer systems.
  • Previous experience in medical records/health industry.
  • Flexibility to work varying start or finishing times between 7.30am and 5.30pm.
  • Knowledge and experience with computer systems and programs.
  • Good communication skills to deal with telephone enquiries as well as staff within the hospital
  • Possession of a current NSW Drivers License desirable
