A Childrens Social Worker is required to join Solihulls LAC team. This is a great opportunity to be part of a closeknit team.
What will your responsibilities be
The team works with children looked after from ages 0 to 18 taking responsibility for them after a care plan has been agreed indicating they need to be Looked After. You will manage and support children and young people with complex care plans including court work related to the discharge of care orders. You will engage with children and young people effectively to participate in their care planning and conducts safeguarding investigations and assessments. You will provide robust management support and regular monthly supervision along with regular team meetings and weekly group checkins.

To be eligible for this role you must have Social Work England registration and be eligible to work in the UK. Additionally you need to hold a full UK driving licence and possess postqualified experience. A degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work is also required.
