We are delighted to be working with a fantastic 1 Rosette gastropub in Wokingham known for its dedication to fresh local and seasonal British produce. Owned by a former chef this gastropub takes a producedriven approach with suppliers bringing in the best ingredients of the season for the kitchen team to craft new and exciting dishes.
Youll be wondering whats in it for you as the Head Chef
- 50000 to 55000 package
- Working 48 hours per week

Responsibilities as the Head Chef
- Leading and managing all aspects of the kitchen including GP ordering KPIs and supplier relationships
- Creating seasonal dishes based on the best available local produce
- Overseeing the butchery of whole animals and ensuring waste is minimised
- Delivering consistently high food standards in line with the gastropubs 1 Rosette status
- Developing and mentoring the kitchen team to maintain a smooth and efficient service
- Designing and managing weekly specials to keep the menu fresh and exciting
