Job Description:

We are seeking aNetwork Engineerwith a minimum of 4 years of handson experience in managing and troubleshooting network infrastructure including routers switches and firewalls. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of networking concepts and be capable of taking ownership of networking issues and resolving them efficiently.

As a Network Engineer atBusinessnext you willbe responsible formaintainingthe stability and performance of our network infrastructureidentifyingand resolving network issues and working closely with other teams to ensure seamless connectivity. The role demandsstrong communicationskills a proactive attitude and a selfmotivated individual who can take the initiative to improve network systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install configure andmaintainnetwork routers switches and firewalls.

• Troubleshoot and resolve networkrelated issues across the organization.

• Perform routine network performance analysis and provide recommendations for improvements.

• Ensure network security through effective configuration of firewalls VPNs and other security devices.

• Monitor andmaintainnetwork performanceidentifyingareas of improvement or risk.

• Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth and efficient network operations.

• Manage network documentation configurations and change management processes.

• Proactivelyidentifypotential network issues and take initiatives to resolve them before theyimpactbusiness operations.

• Assistin networkcapacityplanning ensuring future scalability and network optimization.

• Providetimelysupport to endusers and internal teams on networkrelated issues.

• Stay updated with the latest networking trends and technologies to keep the infrastructure current and secure.

Key Requirements:

• Experience:Minimum 4 years of handson experience in network engineering specifically with routers switches and firewalls.

• Strong knowledgeof networking concepts such as TCP/IP subnetting VLANs routing protocols (e.g. OSPF BGP) and VPNs.

• Experience in configuring and managingnetwork security devices such as firewalls (Cisco ASAFortigate etc..

• Proven troubleshootingskills for networkrelated issues including performance issues connectivity problems and device configurations.

• Strongcommunicationskillswith the ability to interact with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders.

• Selfmotivated driven and able to take initiatives independently in a fastpaced environment.

• Ability to prioritize tasks manage time effectively and handle multiple issues simultaneously.

• Handson experience with network monitoring tools and protocols (e.g. SNMP NetFlow).

• Certification such asCCNA CCNP or similaris preferred.
