Our Buildings Workshop fabricates and constructs transportable buildings and switch rooms playing a critical role in powering Australias energy future.
We are currently seeking an Electrical Supervisor to lead our Buildings Workshop team overseeing the fabrication electrical fitout and assembly of transportable buildings and switch rooms. This is a leadership role with handson responsibilities perfect for an experienced electrician looking to step up while staying engaged in the work.
About the Role
As the Electrical Supervisor you will:
- Lead and mentor a team of electricians apprentices and trades assistants.
- Oversee electrical installations wiring and commissioning of transportable buildings and switch rooms.
- Work handson while supervising the team to ensure quality safety and efficiency.
- Manage workflow inventory and resource allocation to keep projects on track.
- Ensure compliance with job plans quality management systems and WHS regulations.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to meet project deadlines and client specifications.
- Conduct safety audits and risk assessments promoting a strong safety culture.
About You
- Qualified Electrician with a current AClass Electrical License (SA or ability to obtain).
- Experience in leading teams while still being on the tools.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems switchrooms and transportable buildings.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Excellent problemsolving planning and leadership skills.
- Commitment to safety quality and compliance in workshop operations.
- Desirable: Forklift EWP or Working at Heights licenses.
