JOB DUTIES
Perform comprehensive multipoint inspections of vehicles including fluids battery brakes belts tires and more
Conduct light line maintenance tasks
Inspect and refill all fluid levels as necessary
- Inspect and install new oil drain plugs and filters
Replace mount and balance tires
Inspect tire pressure and add air as needed
Maintain accurate dealership records and provide customers with vehicle recommendations
Keep the shop area clean organized and ensure tools are properly accounted for
Work closely with service advisors and fellow technicians to ensure timely and highquality service
Job Qualifications:
Previous experience at an automotive dealership
Strong understanding of the service drive
Years of experience vary per position
Dexterity requiring a steady hand excellent handeye coordination
Mechanical and troubleshooting skills
Excellent customer service skills
Basic computer competencies
Positive friendly attitude along with a customer service mentality
Enjoy working in a fastpaced environment
Team player with ability to collaborate with others effectively
Ability to learn new technology repair and service procedures and specifications
Abilityto operate electronic diagnostic equipment
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs regularly
Valid drivers license and clean driving record
Willing to submit to preemployment drug screen and background check
