What you get to do:
Youll provide the knowledge experience and expertise necessary to ensure our plumbing runs and flows and drains smoothly. You will:
- Maintain repair replace and/or install plumbing piping and plumbing fixtures related to city and nonpotable water and sewage throughout the park
- Be responsible for the interior and exterior of park as well as main sewer lines building sewer lines drains and cleanouts grease traps/pits manholes and lift stations
- Troubleshoot malfunctions and solve most problems with minimum supervisor
- Adhere to safety and handling procedures as well as state and federal regulations
What it takes to succeed:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have at least 1 one year of prior onsite plumbing experience.
- Valid state drivers license and ability to obtain a company drivers license
- Ability to read and work from blueprints and/or drawings
- Knowledge of Sloan and Zurn flushometers Chicago and Zurn faucets and other brands
- Knowledge of main and secondary supply/shutoff valves for city and nonpotable water
- Ability to properly use appropriate hand and power tools (i.e. Spartan drain and sewer snake the Mustang jetter etc.
- Installation skills with PVC piping and galvanized pipe
- Experience working with chemical and hazardous wastes
- Excellent communication and math skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Able to lift 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Able to work in all weather conditions and temperature extremes
- Available to work varying shifts/hours including weekends and holidays
- Crosstrained in other maintenance fields preferred
- Plumbing license a plus
