Description
DayToDay Responsbilities: Code proficiently in one or more objectorientated languages including Java 17 with Spring Boot. Create low latency threadsafe concurrent code in Java or another JVM based language. Utilize event driven architecture and distributed messaging technologies like Kafka to scale for large spikes in demand. Design resilient data streaming integrations between applications with strategies for data completeness and integrity. Use and design schemas/data structures in modern relational databases like CockroachDB. Work with Docker and run Production workloads on Kubernetes. Understand API Security concepts including OIDC certificate management and signing (e.g. JWS). Apply agile methodologies such as Scrum in daily work. Must Have: Knowledge of data serialisation formats (e.g. Google Protocol Buffers Apache Avro and Parquet) Experience with gRPC or RSocket Hands on experience with C Rust or Golang Experience of using distributed caches and data grids (e.g. Gemfire Hazelcast Redis Valkey) Experience of NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB) Certified Kubernetes knowledge and practical experience (e.g. CKAD) Certified public cloud technology knowledge and practical experience (e.g. Terraform AWS certification)
