Job Description
Our client in Paarl is looking for a Cost Accountant.
Duties & Responsibilities
A completed National Senior Certificate qualification (matric / Grade 12 and a relevant tertiary qualification in finance and/or costing.
At least 3 4 years experience in costing with retail concern.
Experience using ERP systems.
Experience using Sage X3 would be advantageous.
Experience using Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills.
Fluent in Afrikaans and English.
Responsibilities:
Product costing and tooling inventory reporting and maintenance compare actual costs to estimates and analyse any variances.
Preparation of cost estimates/quotes for new products/customers and product changes.
Update BOMs as necessary.
Assist with stock counts.
Load cost estimates/quotes.
Assist with recons/schedules.
Prepare accurate records for old and new product costings.
Maintain inventory and products.
Draw audit information on a continuous basis.
