About the Role:
As Production Manager youll be at the forefront of production operations ensuring that every process runs smoothly and efficiently. Youll lead a talented team inspire innovation and implement strategies to enhance productivity and quality. Your expertise will be pivotal in maintaining high standards and meeting production goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily production operations and ensure the seamless of all processes.
- Lead mentor train and motivate a production team of 30 to achieve optimal performance.
- Implement and maintain best practices for safety quality and efficiency.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to streamline processes and improve workflow.
- Monitor production metrics and provide regular reports to management.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement innovative solutions to enhance production capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience in a production leadership role with a track record of success
- Change agent with proven continuous improvement experience. Lean manufacturing and/or Six Sigma exprience strongly preferred.
- Metal fabrication manufacturing experience a must. Some experience with low volume/madetoorder production desired.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to think critically and solve complex problems.
- ERP experience
