Job Description
Requirements:
- BEng or BTech
- Proficient in Civil Designer AutoCAD and Civil3D design software
- Minimum of 8 years specific roads design experience is a prerequisite
- Preferably registered with ECSA as a Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng
- Highly competent in geometric design of roads and drawing production standards of national and provincial authorities
- Extensive experience in complex road projects involving freeway interchange design major provincial roads urban arterial roads dual carriageways major intersections roundabouts road marking drainage etc.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team requiring coordination between discipline interfaces such as geotechnical structures materials transportation environmental etc
- Produce 3D visualization of road designs
- Preparation of road infrastructure design reports
- Preparation of tender documentation including specifications quantities and cost estimates
- Experience with COLTO COTO & general conditions of contract would be advantageous
- Site experience would be advantageous
