Skills & Experience:
Strong commercial expertise and be able to demonstrate a commercial approach to client work
Whilst we are not looking for an individual with a clear following to recruit at Partner/Head of level you will need to be experienced in fostering and developing client relationships and a desire to continue with this
You will also need to have strong people leadership skills to manage and support a growing team/department
Have experience in business development activities being able to act as an ambassador for the firm taking a proactive approach to building professional relationships with new and existing clients of the firm and other professional contacts
Work predominantly on cases that are privately funded but there may be some exposure to cases that are funded under legal expenses insurance policies
Embrace the challenge of expanding your knowledge into new areas of law
Deliver clear accurate and pragmatic advice based on both the legal and commercial realities of a clients position
Develop and assist with the implementation of business development strategies
Achieve personal and team targets audit and quality requirements service level agreements (SLA) and key performance indicators
Operate within a departmental structure delivering a consistently excellent standard of legal services to our clients
