Commercial Drywall Superintendent
Location: Seattle WA
Company Overview:A growing commercial drywall company specializing in tenant improvements and multifamily residential projects in the Seattle area is looking to add a great Superintendent to our team! We pride ourselves on our commitment to quality safety and innovation creating spaces that enhance our communities.
Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced Commercial Drywall Superintendent to oversee drywall installation and finishing operations for our tenant improvement and multifamily projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing teams ensuring project deadlines and maintaining high standards of workmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all drywall activities on multiple job sites ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with project managers subcontractors and other trades to ensure seamless project .
- Conduct onsite inspections to monitor progress and compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Provide leadership and direction to drywall crews fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Schedule and manage materials delivery ensuring adequate supplies for ongoing projects.
- Resolve any onsite issues or conflicts that arise and adjust work plans as necessary.
- Maintain accurate project documentation including daily reports and time tracking.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Drywall Superintendent specifically in commercial tenant improvements and multifamily construction.
- Strong knowledge of drywall installation techniques materials and industry standards.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
- Familiarity with construction safety regulations and best practices.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and adapt to changing project needs.
