Job Description

Billing and Payroll Support Coordinator $2630/hr Depending on Experience

Description: The billing and payroll support position will provide oversight to billing payroll accounts receivable andACA reporting benefits eligibility and thirdparty payment systems. The position will report to the office manager and will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of payroll accounts receivable and invoicing. Additionally the support position will oversee caregiver training compliance and records.

Responsibilities include:

  • Accurate invoicing and payroll each period
  • Reviewing billing and payroll rates prior to submission and throughout the week to increase accuracy
  • Submitting timeoff requests to payroll provider
  • Completing remote deposits of client payments entering and tracking client payments
  • VA Billing and submission
  • Reviewing accounts receivable and followingup on outstanding balances
  • Oncall work with clients and caregivers overseen by the office manager
  • Reviewing longterm care insurance and communicating with LTC agencies
  • Understanding agency regulations and oversight to ensure compliance
  • HIPAA compliant operations
  • Monthly ACA reporting
  • Communication with payroll provider throughout pay cycles

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years billing payroll and administrative office assistance
  • Excellent personal and professional references
  • Multiple years overseeing or assisting with payroll
  • Teamoriented attitude and view
  • Excellent organizational and written communication skills
  • Preferred HIPAA compliance experience
  • Ability to learn and utilize agency provided technology including WellSky (or other management systems) Computer Emailing EFiling and document tracking

Hours: The support position is a fulltime employee. A typical week will consist of work from 9AM5PM MondayFriday. The position will also be oncall on a rotational basis (typically 1 weeknight on a weekly basis and 1 weekend day on a monthly basis). The division of hours each week will vary but may look similar to those listed below:

58 Hours/Week of Accounts Receivable followup Payment Entry and Tracking

2530 Hours/Week of Administrative Work including payroll/invoicing review longterm care insurance phone calls and deposits

46 Hours/Week of OnCall Work
