Position Summary
The Research Associate will manage describe visualize and conduct statistical analysis of data to achieve the aims of ongoing federally funded research studies. The goal of the funded research projects is to investigate the health effects of environmental exposures including per and polyfluoroalkyl substances PFAS using observational study designs. The individual in this position will contribute to the selection of analytic methods and the interpretation and reporting of study results including writing revising and submitting manuscripts for publication in peerreviewed journals. The Research Associate will be expected to regularly attend meetings inperson and/or remotely with study Principal Investigators and other collaborators and to maintain Universityrequired training in the responsible conduct of research with human subjects.
Required Qualifications Competencies And Experience
* Experience using SAS software and/or R programming language to conduct multivariable statistical analyses. * Experience gained during graduate or postdoctoral studies is acceptable.
Preferred Qualifications Competencies And Experience
* Previous experience working on research studies involving human subjects. * Previous experience reporting study findings in peerreviewed journal articles.
