Starting Pay Rate: 25.50
As a Juvenile Justice Specialist (JJS) you function as part of a Core Treatment Team to provide Reach Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. You would work in collaboration with a core team comprised of a Reach therapist Continuity of Care provider and specialized probation officer. You are to meet with family and youth in accordance with recovery planning and family needs 35 times weekly and be available one week a month 24 hours to families in crisis.
You will provide a method of comprehensive review and evaluation of both mental health and criminal justice history to determine the least restrictive and clinically beneficial treatment disposition. You will be required to provide coordination advocacy interaction and cooperation with other departments both external and internal to MHMRTC.
Qualifications
Minimum Education: Masters Degree
Defined Education: Social Behavioral Health and Human Services
(Note: Degrees considered social behavioral or human services include psychology social work medicine nursing rehabilitation counseling sociology human development gerontology educational psychology and physician assistant studies)
Years Experience: Two 2 years fulltime work experience in Health and Human Services
License/Certifications: Valid Texas drivers license with an acceptable driving record.
