Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company vehicle such as a delivery van or truck adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Efficiently load unload and transport automotive parts to various customer locations ensuring their integrity and proper handling.
- Plan delivery routes using maps or GPS systems to optimize time and fuel efficiency.
- Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring prompt and courteous interactions with customers during deliveries addressing inquiries or concerns effectively.
- Issue receipts and maintain accurate delivery records.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checksand report any mechanical issues to the appropriate supervisor.
- Collaborate with the Parts Department team to ensure accurate order fulfillment and timely deliveries.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle ensuring it is wellstocked with necessary supplies and parts.
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding safety vehicle maintenance and delivery protocols.
- Continuously strive to improve delivery processes and suggest innovative ideas to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role preferably in an automotiverelated environment.
- Knowledge of local roads traffic patterns and GPS systems.
- Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers.
- Ability to work independently prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling and documenting deliveries.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings weekends or overtime as needed.
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Must have a valid Drivers License and an acceptable driving record.
- Must be willing to participate in a preemployment background check and drug screening.
Physical/Environmental Requirements
- Light Work Occasionally exerting up to 25 pounds and standing/walking frequently.
- Environment Requires occasional exposure to heat cold noise and both inside and outside conditions. Requires the ability to safely operate a vehicle.
- Must be able to read write and have repetitive motion of the wrists hands and/or fingers legs arms and feet.
- Must be able to bend stoop kneel climb stretch etc.
