Job Description
What youll get to do:
- Meet production goals and treat customers and coworkers with respect
- Process materials efficiently understand and share grading knowledge with coworkers
- Maintain proper material storage and ensure organized yard flow
- Operate heavy equipment safely and proficiently for material handling
- Ensure safe and clean work areas by grading drives and removing hazards
- Load outbound materials efficiently assist with incoming load placement
- Perform equipment inspections assist with maintenance and report issues
What will make you successful:
- Experience in operating heavy machinery preferably in a metals yard
- Knowledge of material grades and their impact on costs and profits
- Ability to maintain a safe clean and organized work area
- Physical ability to handle demanding tasks in a fastpaced environment
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with team members and customers
- Problemsolving skills to address material handling or equipment issues
- Attention to detail for maintaining equipment functionality and smooth operations
