The Caf Manager will oversee the daily operations of the caf manage the team monitor financial performance ensure customer satisfaction and maintain quality control. Additionally our Caf Manager will have prior experience with caf operations management well versed in Australias coffee culture and knows how to create a seven day roster.
Essential Requirements:
- Fluent in English spoken and written
- Hold a current RSA Certificate
- Full Australian working rights
- Computer literacy is a must
- Minimum 1 year in caf or restaurant management
- Coffee & Food knowledge
- Polite personal manner both face to face and over the phone
- Understanding of hospitality cost control measures
- Ability to keep cool under pressure
- Strong team leading skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent grooming standards
- Hours can vary and include weekend and holiday work

Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Ensuring the smooth and consistent delivery of cafe service
- Liaising with suppliers & negotiating the best prices to maximise GP
- Ongoing staff performance management
- Maintaining the gelato & pastry counter
- Manage the team and oversee daytoday operations of the caf
- Monitor inventory order supplies and ensure quality control of food and beverage items
- Track financial performance revenue expenses and profitability and make strategic decisions to maximize profitability
- Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining a welcoming atmosphere resolving complaints and upholding customer service best practices
- Collaborate with the team to ensure a friendly and efficient customer experience
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met food and equipment are properly stored and maintained and staff is trained to adhere to health safety and hygiene regulations
- Develop and implement marketing plans and promotions
- Collaborate with external stakeholders to expand and retain the customer base
