Job Description
This position will provide general maintenance and custodial support for UTDs Student Housing facilities. Duties involve general support of an assigned housing building.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Vacuum spot clean and/or extract carpets and furniture using commercial vacuum cleaners and extraction equipment. Report malfunctions of bathroom fixtures light fixtures and/or damages to room and hall furnishings to supervisor. Stock area with appropriate supplies. Lock and unlock doors as directed. Assist with work orders for repair/maintenance. Assist custodial operations as needed. Assist with maintenance of grounds and property. Set up rooms for activities or classes by moving tables moving chairs and setting up projectors and screens to support daily activities and special events in residential areas. Provide quality customer service. Assure all safety precautions are followed in workplace. Communicate effectively in a professional manner and is a team player. Other duties may be assigned.
