Do you have a passion for clean copy eyecatching templates and turning dense technical input into compelling narratives If youre a detaildriven wordsmith who thrives in the federal proposal world and loves balancing branding with compliancewe want to talk to you.
You:
U.S. Citizen
BS degree (English or Journalism a plus) with 6 years of experience authoring revising and editing technical documentation
6 years of experience working with Federal Government customers
Expert at Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint (you know where every button lives)
Excellent analytical and business presentation skillsyou can clarify simplify and impress
Strong writer and editor with experience crafting:
RFX responses (RFPs RFIs RFQs)
Task order proposals
White papers
Past performance rsums and boilerplate
Able to work closely with SMEs and technical teams to gather input and create content
Own and maintain the Corporate Style Guide and branding standards
Skilled in desktop publishing and formattingyour docs dont just read well they look great
Experience designing and creating reusable proposal templates
Organize and maintain SharePoint content libraries and repositories
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):
Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) / Systems Engineering Life Cycle (SELC) frameworks
Experience using AI/LLMs for proposal support prompt engineering
