Leading Hand Heavy Diesel Fitter Site Based
Lead a skilled team while maintaining our Emeco Rental Fleet at South Walker Creek Mine. Be part of a team that values your leadership expertise and dedication to toptier maintenance.
The Offer
- From $74 per hour on a fulltime contract.
- FIFO Qld Paid Flights or DIDO Vehicle Allowance package
- Up to 7 hrs paid Travel time per swing
- 7/7 roster Camp less than 2 hours from Mackay at Coppabella
- Super paid on all hours worked.
- Extra shift incentive for additional hours worked.

What will your daytoday look like
- Lead a crew of Fitters Auto Electricians Boilermakers and TAs to maintain and service our rental fleet.
- Work on D11 Dozers 16M & 24M Graders 773 to 793 Trucks 400T & 600T Excavators and more.
- Prioritise breakdowns manage planned maintenance and report issues efficiently.
- Ensure all maintenance repairs are performed within company guidelines and cost targets.
- Work closely with Emeco/Force customers to meet operational objectives.
What are you bringing to the table
- Unrestricted rights to work in Australia (No sponsorship available).
- Australian recognised trade qualification (Heavy Diesel Mobile Plant).
- Proven leadership experience in a mining environment.
- Mine site experience Breakdown work diagnostics servicing & component changeouts across CAT Liebherr and Hitachi equipment.
- Coal mining safety awareness current Standard 11 & ability to pass a Coal Board Medical.
- Current Australian drivers licence (mandatory).
- Current S123 & G2 or willing to obtain.
