POSITION OVERVIEW
The Global Finance Analyst GFA is part of the Hyvas Global Accounting Services Team and executes projects across Hyvas Finance organisation globally.
The incumbent will work on project basis to support different finance teams around the world in situations of (temporary) shortage of staff and other key disruptions.
In addition the GFA will lead or support projects to improve efficiency and quality in the finance function.
MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
On an interim basis fill in resource gaps across the Global Hyva Finance organisation due to temporary resource gaps (departure longterm sickness backlogs backfills etc.. Activities can cover a wide range of roles and activities including:
Oversee and guide team members providing coaching feedback and support to help achieve individual and collective goals;
Prepare journal entries recurring and allocation journal entries and gather adequate supporting documentation;
Submit accurate and ontime financial information for group reporting (in OneStream);
Reconcile balance sheets accounts on an ongoing basis;
Responsible for indirect tax statistics information and other financial information to comply with local laws & regulations;
Maintain an appropriate internal control environment in terms of P2P and O2C;
Ensure ontime payment to suppliers;
Consolidate and analyze financial data (actuals budgets forecasts etc. considering companys goals and financial standing;
During other periods work on projects to improve quality and efficiency in the finance function:
Improve efficiency through standardization automation in the Finance function.
Implement metrics to measure efficiency and quality of the accounting function
Drive together with Business Process owners and with support of IT automation in the Finance function.
Implement and/or enhance the use of Business Intelegence and Robotic Process Automation.
Establish and maintain work instructions
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Educational Level: Bachelor
Professional Experience: 2 years of relevant experience
Excellent communication in English
Ability to work on a multicultural environment
Willing to travel for longer periods (few weeks/months) if required
Ambitious and continuous looking for improvements
