Job Description
ModelDairy Foods a leading supplier and distributor of highquality awardwinning dairy products is looking for aCold WarehouseTeam Member to join our team out of our Reno NV production facility. This position will be responsible for demonstrating ourModel Dairy Core Values and carrying out our purpose of Nourishing Lives.
Essential Functions:
- Approach work with a Continuous Improvement mindset and engage inModel Dairy Mission Statement to identify value prioritize resource and sustain improvement opportunities.
- Own and promote a Safety Culture by ensuring a safe work environment and promoting proper safety behavior.
- Excellent attendance and punctuality is an essential function of this position.
- Unload trailers of empty pallets and cases using pallet jack move cases to washer for cleaning.
- Load pallets into trucks using pallet jack; ability to follow written load tickets for accurate shipments.
- Stage product for shipping; ability to follow written load tickets for accurate loads.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED is required.
- Must be a trustworthy selfstarter who can work independently on highly detailed tasks and deliver accurate timely results.
- Ability to learn quickly and continuously.
- Must be able to stand/walk for full shift lift 50 lbs. pull/push up to 300 pounds and work safely around industrial machinery.
- Must be able to work in cold (refrigerated) environment.
- Must be available to work any shift including weekends.
