This position is responsible for all of the clinical and patient treatment activities within the Medical Section of the Clinical Affairs Department. Duties include providing medical assessments performing medical procedures and providing primary clinical care to the residents of the Kalamazoo Psychiatric Hospital.
This position on a regular basis provides direct health care services to persons in the care or custody of the state and has unsupervised access to controlled substances.
To be considered for this position you must:
Possession of a medical degree from an accredited school of medicine.
One year of post medical degree fulllicensure experience in the practice of medicine or osteopathic medicine and surgery.
The use of artificial intelligence (AI) software of any kind is prohibited in all areas of the selection process; including but not limited to responses to application questions and responses to interview questions or exercises.
Possession of a License to practice Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine and surgery in Michigan.
Possession of a Drug Enforcement Administrative (DEA) License.Accommodations
