Job Description
Responsibilities & Qualifications
RESPONSIBILITIES
Specifically The Cloud Engineer will perform or provide support to:
- Integration of the customers native cloud infrastructure with community cloud Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) capability. While the community is AWSbased other cloud infrastructures will be encountered in this activity.
- Delivering and managing customer specific IaaS to users to provision processing storage networks and other fundamental computing resources allowing users to deploy and run mission specific software including operating systems and applications. These services include systems database and account administration to operate maintain and sustain the enterprise shared applications and infrastructure services
- Managing and controlling cloud infrastructure including network servers operating systems storage and platform software and services.
- Providing mission system services administration and management support for both traditional systems and systems that exist within or use virtual and cloud services hosted by other agencies and external cloud service providers in support of the customer mission.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently possess an active Top Secret security clearance with Polygraph
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect
