Summary & Objective
The Director of Facilities/Plant Operations plans and directs all aspects of the organizational engineering activities and ensures all engineering projects initiatives and processes are in compliance with established policies procedures State and Federal regulations. The individual is responsible for Project Management Planning Cost Management Time Management Quality Management Contract Administration Safety Management and Construction Management Professional Practice which includes specific activities such as defining the responsibilities and management structure of the project management team organizing and leading by implementing project controls defining roles and responsibilities and developing communication protocols and identifying elements of projects design and construction likely to give rise to disputes and claims. The individual will also make recommendations as to Contractor Selection maintaining a positive working relationship among the Owner Architect/Designer and Contractor and maximizing the awareness among the Owner Architect/Designer as to all parties needs and expectations in order to perform their part of the project in the most cost efficient manner.
