Job Description
Join our team as a Storage and Backup Administrator where you will help maintain and optimize storage infrastructure for our customers. We are looking for an experienced professional with expertise in NAS administration enterprise backup solutions and tape library management.This position is fully onsite.
- Administer and maintain NAS and SAN storage solutions.
- Manage enterprisegrade backup and recovery software (NetBackup experience preferred).
- Operate and maintain tape libraries including Quantum and SpectraLogic systems.
- Monitor and troubleshoot storage infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.
- Implement and maintain SAN/NAS architecture and backend SAN technologies (Fibre Channel Brocade eSAS NVMEoF).
- Automate tasks using Python and Bash scripting.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to enhance storage and backup strategies.
- Ensure adherence to industry best practices company and agency policies and regulatory requirements.
- Create and maintain thorough documentation of plans system configurations and operational processes and procedures.
