Position: MULTISITE MANAGER COURT CARE PROGRAM DROPIN CHILDCARE SITES

Status: Fulltime NonExempt 40 hours per week

Rate of Pay: $20.50 per hour

Summary: This position carries the major responsibilities for program delivery planning implementing assuring compliance supporting the integration of all required services and upholding YWCA standards in multiple dropoff childcare locations for our Court Care Program in MiamiDade and Broward County. The Multisite Manager provides guidance and technical assistance to all the site supervisors to ensure full implementation of the program coordinates a series of support services among all court care sites that include dropped in child care for children 6 months to 12 years old in a Court Care center maintenance of the classroom/space counseling and technical assistance of previrtual court hearing virtual age appropriate activities and resources and referrals as needed.

Responsible for providing a welcoming and safe environment for children and provide age appropriate activities while children are on site and conducting age appropriate virtual activities for kids and counseling of technical assistance to parents to help them to be ready for their virtual hearings.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Provides training and technical assistance to the Court Care site managers and staff. Training includes but not limited to: use of virtual platforms use of different technology and communication systems virtual programming activities record keeping and reporting program policies and procedures and age appropriate activities for children 6 months to 12 years old.

Ensures the program follows all YWCA South Florida policies and procedures program procedures and meets high quality program standards.

Supervises all staff and trainees assigned to the court care sites including substitutes. Arranges substitutes as needed.

Manages the accuracy and timeliness of reporting that include but are not limited to: timesheets and signin/out logs; attendance and program monthly grantee reporting. Makes sure there is an effective record keeping and reporting system in place.

Monitors annual budget and protects and conserves materials so that expenditures can be kept within budget.

Safeguards the physical care and nurturing of the children and provides a welcoming and safe environment for children and provide age appropriate activities

Promotes and maintain good relationship with sponsoring site personnel parents funders and agencies.

Attends and participates in YWCA inhouse staff training and funder professional development needs..

Conducts site or virtual visits to evaluate the programs compliance and quality.

Commutes in noncompany vehicle to multiple sites for business purposes as needed.

Responsible for referring participants to the different sites for virtual precourt hearing counseling and technical assistance virtual age appropriate activities for the children.

Coordinates with the site managers virtual and onsite activities.

Provides resources and make referrals to families as needed.

Makes sure implementation assuring compliance and upholding YWCA standards in multiple dropoff childcare locations for our Court Care Program and the virtual and technical assistance program.

Makes sure all monthly reports are submitted in a timely manner to the Director of Education.

Arranges and maintains furniture and materials to promote independent and group management.

Encourages the positive selfimage of children through active listening responding and encouraging independence while giving verbal and nonverbal reinforcement. Uses positive nonpunitive discipline techniques. Guides children in controlling their behavior by using positive appropriate approaches.

Requirements

Education/Experience:

Bachelors degree in early childhood elementary education or related field preferred; associate can be considered. Three 3 to Four 4 years experience working with children and families including some supervisory experience preferred; or equivalent combination of related experience and education. Administrative experience preferred.

Directors Credential or willing to get Directors credential within 12 months of employment.

High level of Computer and Technology Proficiency. Technical Platforms knowledge and Virtual Meeting Facilitation skills and related technical skills are a must for staff member success.


Ability to effectively communicate with children and adults; Respond to common inquiries or complaints from children and/or their parents regulatory agencies or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
