Job Description
Company Overview:
South East Queensland Hauliers is a full service wharf logistics provider based in Hemmant 5 minutes from the Port of Brisbane. Founded in the 1960sSEQH havegrown to become one of the largest import/export wharf carriers whilst still remaining a family owned and operated business.
SEQH reside on company owned sites in both Hemmant and Toowoomba. Both of which are undergoing 2025 planned infrastructure developments that have been initiated by genuine growth. Its an exciting time to join!
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently load/unload trucks
- Ensure loads comply with vehicle mass and dimension limits
- Stack empty pallets as needed
- Inspect products for damage and capture photo evidence
- Conduct daily equipment checks
Key Requirements:
- Current Perform High Risk Licence (Forklift)
- At least 1 year experience in forklift operation
- Strong ability to perform general maintenance on forklifts and maintain safe work practices
- Understanding of Load restraint and Chain of Responsibility
