Job Description

Seldin Company is seeking an Apartment Resident Service Coordinator for Woodland Apartments in Woodbine IA. This is a HUD property with 48 units. This position will pay up to $21.00 an hour determined by experience certifications skills and education. The schedule for this position will be 32 hours per week MondayThursday 8AM5PM.

What You Will Do


The Resident Services Coordinator will build solid resident relationships and promote successful residencies by providing supportive services and aiding the site team in achieving excellent customer service experiences for prospective residents who are seeking a new home as well as providing services for the existing residents.

This role assists residents in achieving independence and selfsufficiency in accessing services and resources by identifying community needs and making resource information available to residents. The Resident Service Coordinator will serve the site as an active team member supporting aspects of fieldlevel property management working collaboratively with the staff to meet the property needs and resolve resident concerns in accordance with Seldin Company policy and procedures.


Skills and Requirements

  • Preferred experience in community organizing social work or relative support services; or a combination of education and experience
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to organize and facilitate community events presentation and meetings
  • General office skills. Proficient with Microsoft outlook and the ability to generate community newsletters fliers and correspondences
  • Minimum of two years experience in community organizing or social work; or a combination of education and experience
  • Ability to work independently and engage a broad spectrum of community members in planning efforts
  • Ability to work nights and weekends for community events as needed
