Company:
The Boeing CompanyBoeing is looking for a Supply Chain Specialist (Level 2 for our Dallas TX facility. The Supply Chain Specialist will be an integral member of BGSG Supply Chain team for KC46 and T7 aircraft. Provides oversight and management of supply and demand schedules supplier quality delivery and financial performance. Assists in analyzing post production supply chain data to define reorder points and quantities. Enters tracks monitors and coordinates customer material and delivery requirements and customer orders. Processes material returned from customers. Assists in the analysis of supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services to include repair capabilities capacity and performance. Processes documentation associated with repair items and warranty claims.
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options: Dallas TX.
Position Responsibilities:
Engages stakeholders to ensure that program customer product and inservice strategies are integrated into source selection negotiation and contracting strategies.
Optimizes of the supply chain balancing inventory supply orders and schedule demand.
Manages performance and relationship to ensure delivery quality financial stability and inservice performance.
Mitigates risks and issues.
Initiates supplier improvement activities and provides results for integration into contracting strategies.
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements therefore a U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. U.S. Person includes U.S. Citizen lawful permanent resident refugee or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
Experience in Supply Chain/Procurement
Experience in GOLD procurement systems
Ability to travel 10 of the time.
Preferred Qualifications/Desired Skills (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelors degree or higher preferred.
Experience in a role requiring strategic planning (project/program management).
4 years experience with Supplier Management or Procurement practices and processes.
Typical Education/Experience:
Typically 3 or more years related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor Master etc. preferred but not required.
Relocation:
This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
