The Opportunity:
We are looking for a highly skilled Analytics Engineer / Developer with expertise in Power BI SQL and data engineering. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing implementing and maintaining business intelligence solutions optimising data transformation processes and automating reporting workflows.
You will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Conduct indepth technical analysis and collaborate with business teams to understand complex use cases.
- Develop implement and maintain Business Intelligence solutions using Power BI DAX Power Query Power BI Fabric and Power Automate.
- Optimise SQL queries to enhance performance and streamline data transformation processes.
- Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest and curate data from multiple sources (onpremises/cloud internal/external).
- Create automated reporting solutions using Power BI Report Builder (paginated reports).
- Work with version control and deployment workflows using tools such as Git Bitbucket or Azure DevOps.
- Ensure adherence to best practices within the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Minimum 4 years experience in datarelated roles.
- Strong analytical thinking and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure while maintaining stakeholder engagement.
- Indepth technical expertise in Business Intelligence and data engineering.
- High level of computer literacy with experience in Microsoft Office and data management systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills particularly in dealing with sensitive information
- Ability to thrive in a fastpaced and challenging environment
