Company:
The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior GMD Readiness Program Management Specialist to join the GroundBased Midcourse defense Program in Huntsville Alabama.
Position Responsibilities:
Leads development of the program architecture and top level plans for highly complex programs
Identifies key program level horizontal and vertical integration interfaces between major activities teams suppliers partners and customers
Leads the resolution of program issues
Uncovers and resolves issues associated with the development and implementation of operational programs
Analyzes program metrics
Recommends program recovery acceleration plans changes and corrective actions
Leads the implementation of the Program Management Best Practices.
Conducts Independent Reviews
Develops and implements customer and program communication and contact plans
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position is for 1st shift.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelors degree or higher
More than 5 years of experience with Program Management including scheduling and Cost Account Manager (CAM) Earned Value Management (EVM)
Experience communicating and collaborating directly with internal or external customers peers other employees and all levels of leadership
Experience working with MS Office Suite such as Word Excel and MS Project
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience in hardware and software integration
Experience with the Ballistic Missile Defense System Groundbased Midcourse Defense program and/or the Missile Defense Agency
Experience with operations and maintenance of a weapon systems
Relocation:

Travel:
Position may require travel up to 35 of the time.
