You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailGreat opportunity exists as a Mental Health Peer Specialist in our Adult Crisis Intervention Program!Join our professional team to provide specialized care to consumers in a 24hour crisis stabilization setting.
The Mental Health Peer Specialist provides peer counseling and support drawing on common experiences as a peer tovalidate clients experiences and to provide guidance and encouragement to clients to take responsibility and actively participate in their own recovery.
The Crisis Intervention Services: include the Adult and Youth Mobile Crisis Intervention program and are part of Aspires Community Behavioral Health Center. Crisis services are home and communitybased services for children adolescents adults and families in need of immediate psychiatric intervention.
Under the direction of Director of Crisis and Rehabilitation Services the Mental Health Peer Specialist works to provide information support assistance and advocacy for recipients and/or caregivers/family members of consumers of mental health emergency services. Will also provide feedback and perspective to the mental health system relative to the impact and effectiveness of the services provided and to assist with other work related to client care as required.
