ARE YOU LOOKING FOR A NEW ROLE AS A DESIGN MANAGER
Our client is a global design consultancy with studios in Birmingham and across the UAE who have been creating and consulting commercial and hospitality projects since 1995. Our clients are currently looking for a talented Design Manager to join the Interior Design team managing multiple projects for one of their major UK clients. This role is primarily located in the Birmingham office with hybrid work flexibility including onsite meetings and working from home.
RESPONSIBILITIES of the role:
Leading and managing multiple interior design projects ensuring seamless from concept to completion.
Acting as the key liaison between clients contractors and colleagues ensuring smooth communication and project alignment ranging from running onsite meetings to issuing certification.
Overseeing technical design elements ensuring compliance with UK Regulations & Compliance (which you know like the back of your hand).
Problemsolving on the go to tackle challenges streamline processes and keep everything on track.
Balancing creativity with practicality bringing innovative ideas to life while ensuring technical and regulatory feasibility.
REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY to the role:
Experience in Design Management Project Management Interior Design and/or Architecture.
A strong technical and design background with a sharp eye for detail (must be proficient in design software such as AutoCAD Adobe Creative Suite and SketchUp.
Extensive knowledge of UK regulations and compliance within interior design and construction.
Experience managing projects in hospitality leisure or retail (bonus points if youve worked with pub brands before).
A natural communicator who thrives on working with clients contractors and crossfunctional teams.
The ability to juggle multiple projects while keeping timelines budgets and quality in check.
A passion for design that balances creativity functionality and commercial impact.
